Student Spotlight: Sean Schrader

We’re highlighting our scholarship recipients who are doing amazing things in the classroom, on their campuses, and in the community! Meet a one of our current recipients…Sean Schrader!

Sean is studying Business Administration at the University of South Florida. Sean is a demonstrated public servant and active member of his community!

When he’s not doing schoolwork he’s busy serving as a senator for USF’s Student Government, member of the USF Faculty Council on Student Admissions, and a member of the St. Pete Clearwater International Airport Noise Abatement Task Force. Last year he was an intern and Assistant Constituent Advocate in the office of Congressman Charlie Crist. He was also a member of the Clearwater Charter Review Committee and board member for the Clearwater Neighborhoods Coalition.

Sean says: “It is an honor that I was selected to receive the scholarship, and more than that, it helps me realize that there are SO many people at the College Fund, and in my family and other areas who are all rooting for me to be successful, and providing great support along the way.” He’s thankful that he’s been able to focus on his studies rather than the financial costs associated with attending college.

When he graduates, Sean plans to pursue a joint JD and MBA program at Stetson University.

Keep up the great work Sean! We’re so happy that you’re investing in the community and making change in the world.
